Claire DeSetto, RN

Training Center Coordinator

Claire DeSetto is the Coordinator of the American Heart Association Training Center at Mercy Medical Center. She has over 45 years of critical care nursing experience, including ICU, Emergency nursing, and peri-operative nursing. Claire DeSetto is presently the Nursing Director for Peri-Operative and Emergency Services. She has been an ACLS Instructor for the Long Island Region since 1994. Claire is also a PALS Instructor and a BLS Instructor. In addition, she is Regional Faculty for all three disciplines. Additionally, she is the co-author of the chapter CPR for the e-medicine online Family Emergency Medical Guide.
